It was my friends birthday celebration, he invited me and our other close friends at their house for a simple dinner to celebrate his 22nd birthday. His celebration was simple but yet worth to be celebrated, because it was just like his 21st birthday celebration.
As part of the celebrants visitor, i have enjoyed his celebration even if it is was just simple and fun. The food he served was made special by his family especially the cake. it was been home made by his mother. it was so very delicious, sumptuous and mouth watering for the awesome taste of the moist chocolate cake.
My friends visitor are from his former work in a "well-known" food chain and from the church in which the celebrant and I belong, few of his expected guest came but he enjoyed a lot our presence he can not even accommodate all of us but he tried his best to entertain us.
My friend didn't expect that I would give him a gift, for that special occasion. I just gave him his favorite chocolate snack that commonly seen on a child eating that kind of snack, with it was also a jersey shirt. It was also a coincidence that the shirt was part of his dream shirts to have, so that he could wear and use it on the fitness gym or as ordinary household shirt. he was so very thankful because it was been an answered prayer for him to have those things.
For us people or some, we think that birthday celebrations are worth to be celebrated for children only but it's not. Birthday's comes only once in a year, and every year has a different expectations, different challenges and life changing experiences. So we must celebrate our birthday even for just a simple thanks giving for another year of existence in God's wonderful creation.
A Birthday is worth to be celebrated for. Hope you could celebrate yours too even for just a simple way of celebration. Simple yet worth to be remembered.
